UEFA club final programmes

We produce the official matchday final programmes on behalf of UEFA for the Champions League, Women’s Champions League, Europa League and Europa Conference League and it’s an office-wide operation as our editorial, design, digital and production teams come together to get the programmes made, delivered and sold ahead of the final.

Our editorial team determines the content for each magazine and commissions, write and edits each article, working alongside the publications design team to get them on the page. Turnaround is tight, with just four days, for instance, between the Europa League semi-finals and the print deadline to get team-related content on the page and off to the printers.

We work closely with the content coordination team at UEFA to get interviews with the top names at each for each programme, and this year Vinicius Jr, Mats Hummels, Carlo Ancelotti, Aitana Bonmatí and Ada Hegerberg were among the featured stars.

Our production team make sure the programmes, once printed, reach numerous destinations in the host cities – London, Dublin, Bilbao and Athens this time around – and fans could also purchase them via TwelfthMan’s sales portal european-nights.com, managed by our digital department.

This season, our 124-page quarterly magazine, Champions Journal, the official magazine of the UEFA Champions League, was also available to purchase at Wembley Stadium at the Champions Festival in London.

Issue 19 had come out just after the semi-finals and with Real Madrid ace Jude Bellingham on the cover the timing was perfect. We sent our team of roving social media reporters to the Champions Festival to drum up interest, gather content and give a few copies away and they were well received by fans at Trafalgar Square. Check out a couple of the videos below, and follow us on our Champions Journal Instagram and TikTok for more. Oh, and get your copy of Champions Journal here.
